Message from Elder Inous Ellis Jr.

I bring you greetings in His matchless and Marvelous Name Jesus Christ. I am thankful and grateful to God for this undeserved privilege God has given me to serve as your leader for 7 years. My words are inadequate to articulate how humbled I am by this enormous opportunity. However, the words of the Apostle Paul speak accurately to my appreciation in 1Timothy 1:12 “And I thank Christ Jesus our lord, who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry." Because I am cognizant of this Divine favor, I have been determined, with all my might, not to Dishonor, Disobey, or Disappoint God.

Special thanks to my Pastor, Elder Charles Hendley, Mother Hendley, and Greater Mount Pleasant Family. Thank you for your support and assistance in my growth in Christ.

Thanks to the charities: Mother Anderson, Mother Collings, Sister Parks, Mother Gooding, Elder Jones, Sister Jones, Sister Flowers, Sister Grant and Church members for this appreciation service. Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, I want to thank you for not putting me on a pedestal, but rather on your prayer list; following me as I follow Jesus Christ. It is a sobering thought, for with great power also comes great responsibility and ultimately, accountability to God. I am engaged to deepening my relationship and those whom the Lord has called me to lead. Again, I stand to serve God 2018 and beyond. It is my prayer that God’s Riches Blessings be Upon each of you and your families. As we together, compel a dying world that the wage of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life.
